¡Hola a todos! My name is Lorrie Murray and I teach Spanish and World Cultures. I taught Spanish for 28 years – 14 years at Mt. Pleasant High School and Sacred Heart and 14 years at Central Michigan University, before coming to Beal City. I grew up in Mt. Pleasant and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in education (Spanish and Anthropology) and a Master of Arts degree in teaching at the secondary level with an emphasis in Spanish, both from CMU. My focus is second language acquisition and Mexico, a country I have traveled extensively my entire adult life! My husband Bob and I live in Mecosta with our 3 dogs in a log home on 22 acres. Bob is an administrator at Ferris State University, and we have 2 grown sons, Bobby, who works in marketing and Alex, who is a pilot and hunting/fishing guide in Alaska. I love cooking, music, nature, scary movies and everything related to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture! ¡Vamos Aggies!
