Middle School/High School Announcements - 4/22/2024

TODAY IN SPORTS: 

4:15 - Varsity Track - Home - Conference Meet

4:00 - Varsity Baseball & Softball - Home against Sacred Heart

4:15 - JV Baseball - Away against Pine River - Departure is at 2:10

The varsity track team competed at Ithaca on Friday night. The men's team placed a strong 3rd out of 12 teams, scoring 69 points. There were 10 individual personal records and 11 medals awarded to our boys. Kylis Fletcher brought home 1st place in the discus. The women's team also competed very well, placing 4th out of 11 teams, scoring 88 points. The ladies had 9 individual personal records and they brought home 16 medals.  Bryn Gilde won the shot put and Mya Scully was 1st place in  jump jump.

The Aggies compete in their first conference meet tonight at home,  against Evart and Houghton Lake. Field events start at 4:15 and running events start at 5:00.

8th grade field trip permission slips are due to Mrs. Crowley today!

Attendance at GITECH is optional after the clean up.  If you want to attend, the iRide bus will leave at 12:15.  If you do not go to GITECH, students should go home or to the library, not wander around campus.

Detention today is in Ms. Eddy’s room and tutoring is in Ms. Gohs’ room. Both begin at 3:00.

Congratulations to the Marching Aggies for their performance at the Loons game on Friday. Also, congratulations to the MS and HS band students we performed on Saturday with the District 5 All Star Band!  Great job, everyone!

This Friday, April 26th is “Drive your tractor to school day”! If you are of legal age and have access to a tractor, you are allowed to drive it to school on the 26th. Please park in the south west area of the parking lot.

Seniors: Please get your baby picture, senior picture and plans for after school to Dylan Elias or Mr. Hoeberling ASAP!

Seniors: You can now pick up your cap and gown from Diane in the office! Stop in before school, during passing time or at lunch. Please take your gown out of the bag to make sure it is the right size. If there are any issues with the cap or gown, please let Mrs. Millerov know ASAP.

Seniors: There is a special promotion happening now regarding your FASFA. If you complete your FASFA before May 1st, and show Mrs. Millerov your confirmation email, you will be treated to Olive Garden for lunch on May 2nd! See Mrs. Millerov with any questions.

Prom tickets are on sale now. Please see Mrs. Vessel to purchase your ticket. Cost is $25 per person. Prom will be held May 4th from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. at the Little Flower Barn in Lake Isabella.  If you plan to bring a guest from another school (or an underclassmen), please see Diane in the office for a guest pass.  Passes are due this Friday, April 26th.
