2026-2027 Schools of Choice Limited:
Schools of Choice applications are required only for students whose permanent residence is outside of Beal City Public Schools.

A valid parent or guardian email address is required to complete the application process. Once the application is submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided on the application.

If the number of applicants does not exceed the number of seats available, the district must accept all eligible applicants. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of positions available, the district must accept eligible applications in the following order:

• Students who reside in the same household as students enrolled under section 105 or 105c in the immediately preceding school year, semester, or trimester.

• Other students are selected according to a random draw system, which must also be used to establish a waiting list.

Application Window
Application window: Opens May 4, 2026 and will close on June 2, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. *(lottery will take place on June 3, 2026, if needed)*

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. 
Letters of acceptance, denials, and waitlists will be mailed within 15 days of the deadline.

Enrollment Requirement
First day of school: Thursday, August 27, 2026

Students accepted through Schools of Choice must be fully enrolled and in attendance by the end of the first week of school
Friday, August 28, 2026. Failure to meet this requirement may result in forfeiture of placement.

Additional Enrollment
Second‑semester enrollment may be available; please contact the District Central Office for more information.
