4:00 - Varsity Baseball/Softball - Away at Roscommon - Bus departs at 1:45 - Students dismissed at 1:35 (no tech center for baseball/softball players)
4:15 - Varsity Track - Away at McBain - Highland Conference Meet - Bus departs at 2:45 - Students dismissed at 2:35
The varsity baseball team won two games against Central Montcalm 12-0 in 5 innings and 9-7. In game one, Will McClintic (3-0) recorded the win pitching 5 innings with 2 hits and 4 strike outs. Hitting leaders were Eric Elias who went 2-3, Will McClintic at 2-3 with 3 RBI’s, Cuyler Smith going 2-3 with an RBI and Nole Theisen, Matt Johnston, Garrison Zuker and Cam Gross who all had hits. In game two, Danny Roggenbuck (1-0) recorded the win. Connor Sienkiewicz had the save. Hitting leaders were Braxton Butkovich who went 2-4 with a double and a triple. Spence Burmeister was 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI’s. Your Aggies are now 14-7.
Detention today will be held in Ms. Polish’s room starting at 3:00.
Tribal students: Due to Renata and Sue’s adjusted schedule, there will not be homework lab after school this week.
7th and 8th grade volleyball sign ups are happening now for the fall season! If you will be in 7th or 8th grade next year and are interested in joining the team, please sign up on the athletic office window.
JD’s Driving School of Winn has openings for a Segment I driver’s education class starting July 6th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. See Diane for details on how to sign up! There is also a Segment II class in September on the 14th, 15th and 16th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Yearbooks are on sale now! Cost is $35 and can be purchased from Mr. Clark or Mrs. Rider or from Diane in the office.
