Aggies, today we recognize Orange Shirt Day, a day to honor Indigenous children who were taken from their families and sent to boarding and residential schools. Many were separated from their languages, cultures, and traditions, and some never returned home. This history is especially meaningful in our area because the Mount Pleasant Indian Industrial Boarding School operated just a few miles from Beal City. Today, when you see someone wearing orange, remember the message behind it: Every Child Matters. It’s a reminder to learn from our history, respect one another’s cultures, and make sure every student knows they belong.

Sign up for boys and girls middle school and high school basketball is happening now. If you are interested in participating, please add your name to the lists posted on the old athletic office windows. 

Students: Please remember that breakfast is limited to ONE per student per day. You may choose from breakfast in the Cafe before school, or the 2nd chance breakfast at 9:00. You cannot get both. Thank you for your cooperation.

Homecoming court members: If you would like to keep your banner that was hanging over the ramp, you need to pick it up from the library by the end of this week.

NHS blood drive committee meeting this Thursday morning at 7:35 in Mrs. Block’s room.

GSA meeting this Thursday during high school lunch in Mrs. Davis’ room. 

MS YIG meeting this Thursday during middle school lunch in Mr. Clark’s room.
