The girls middle school track and field team took 6th place out of 9 teams at the Highland Conference Championship meet yesterday. Medalists include:
4x200m Relay 2nd - Evelyn Schafer, Aubrey Block, Tilly Schafer, Taylor Sanders
Olivia Krueger - 4th 800m, 3rd 1 mile, 3rd 2 mile
Avery Schultz - 1st shot put
Taylor Sanders - 5th 70m, 4th 200m
Evelyn Schafer- 1st long jump, 4th 400m
Alayna Sharrar - 6th 1 mile
Other scorers include:
Alayna Sharrar - 8th 800m
Paige Helmer - 7th 2 mile
4x400m Relay 5th - Alayna Sharrar, Paris Knickerbocker, Aubrey Block, Tilly Schafer

The boys MS track team travelled to Houghton Lake for the conference championship and finished 3rd place overall!!! Highlights from the night were:
Liam Millerov: 5th Place 55m hurdles and 4th place in the 200m hurdles with a PR
Ryder Sternquist: 3rd place in the 100m and the 200m
Zach Schafer: 6th place in the 100m
Conley Bland: 5th place in the 400m and 5th place in the pole vault with a PR
Brady Gross: 5th place in the 70 and the 200m
Gregg Martin: 6th place in the pole vault
1st place for the 4x400 relay team of Conley Bland, Liam Millerov, Ryder Sternquist and Brady Gross
Other Personal Records: Eli Marshall in the 400m, Grayson Graham in the 200m and Cooper Hickey with a split time in the 4x800 of 2:52.
Detention today will be held in Ms. Polish’s room starting at 3:00 until 4:00.
Juniors, it is time to vote for your Senior Year class representatives! Mrs. Rider has posted a Google Form in the Junior Class Advisory Google Classroom. Please vote by the end of the week!
Juniors, you also need to email Mrs. Rider photos of you and your friends for the yearbook. You currently only have 3 pictures for the Junior Life page. This is the last call for pictures of you and your friends before the yearbook gets published.
Tech center students are excused from afternoon classes today in order to attend the Battle of the Classes assembly at 1:15. If you WANT to attend the tech center, please let Diane know by 10:00 this morning.
It’s time to start cleaning out your lockers! As the end of the school year fastly approaches, please start to clean out old papers, cans, food, etc. from your lockers. This will make the last days of school go smoothly. Thank you!
Mark your calendar for the Drama Club performance of, “Whole Latte Love” happening this Saturday, May 16th in the small gym! Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the performance starts at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
NHS will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, May 20th from noon to 5:45 at the KC Hall in Beal City. Students who are 16 years or older who meet the minimum requirements can donate with parent permission. See Ms. Gohs for more details.
