5:30 - JV/Varsity Girls’ Basketball - Home against Evart
The varsity boys’ basketball team defeated Evart last night 76-41. Avery Small had a very strong defensive effort in the win. Scoring was lead by Drake Gatrell with 25, Grady Gatrell with 19 and Cuyler Smith with 12.
The JV boys bounced back last night with a 46 point victory over the visiting Wildcats of Evart, 64-18. The balanced scoring attack was led by Colin Gross with 15 points. Brody Salisbury took home the Hard Hat with 26 blue collar points.
The Freshman Boys also bounced back with a road win over Central Montcalm by a score of 41-29. Alden Zeien led all scorers with 22 points. Brody Weber for a second time this week, got the honor of wearing the Hard Hat with 24 blue collar points. The boys are back in action next week with a couple of trips to McBain, first to NMC on Wednesday and McBain High on Friday.
If you ordered a Kelly’s Kids sweatshirt, they will be available for pick up today in the student lounge until 10:30 this morning. Please pay in cash or, if writing a check, please make the check payable to Kelly’s Kids and write the words “for immediate spending” in the memo area of the check.
