Welcome Emily Pastotnik

Beal City Public Schools is excited to welcome Emily Pastotnik as the new first-grade teacher. Originally from Shepherd, Michigan, Emily graduated from Shepherd High School before earning her associate degree from Lansing Community College. After several years of working and volunteering in the district, she returned to college and earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University.

Emily and her husband have called Beal City home for the past 15 years, raising their two daughters—both proud Beal City students. In her free time, she enjoys reading, coaching volleyball, golfing, traveling, cooking, and watching football. She shares the fun fact that she loves spontaneous kitchen dance parties.

An avid traveler, Emily counts Africa, Portugal, Costa Rica, and Hawaii among her favorite destinations. She looks forward to bringing her passion for teaching and her love for the Beal City community into her new role.
