Beal City wins 2025 FAFSA Challenge by submitting the most FAFSA's in our region! Seniors earned a pizza party with Harry the Heron and a 3D printed trophy to display for the year. Nice job, class of 2025!

Class of 2025 Salutatorian Hailey Ketchen is the daughter of Nicole and David Ketchen. She is a member of Beal City’s Spanish Club and Drama Club, and she has also been involved in Track and Field throughout high school. At the Gratiot-Isabella Technical Education Center in Mount Pleasant, Hailey Ketchen is taking Digital Media and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society. Her biggest accomplishments throughout high school include earning the Salutatorian rank in her class and becoming inducted into the NTHS during her first year at GI-TEC. Hailey has received multiple scholarships from Central Michigan University, where she plans to attend in order to pursue a major in Animation.

On Tuesday, April 22nd, our high school students participated in a community clean up day! To celebrate Earth Day, Mrs. Doyle, once again, coordinated this event which allowed our students to help local residents and businesses with spring clean up. Thank you, Mrs. Doyle, and our Aggie high school students for your efforts!

Seventh graders from across numerous Gratiot and Isabella County schools came together yesterday to tour the GI-Tec Center. Students were able to explore 19 different programs that will be available to them once in high school, and to spark an interest in future career opportunities!

Congratulations to Bryn Gilde and Emma Block who received special recognition from the School of Communication, Journalism & Media at Central Michigan University. Bryn and Emma won the "Best Integration of School Traditions" category of the viral video contest at CMU. Congratulations, Bryn and Emma!

Congratulations to our High School Robotics Team who won the Mt. Pleasant District Championship this past weekend. They ended up going 5-1 to earn their first District Championship and their first Blue District banner. Also, the Robotics Team took home a prestigious award for Gracious Professionalism! Congratulations to this team! With this win, it's an automatic invite to the State Championship Tournament April 3rd - 5th at SVSU!

Congratulations to our middle school students of the month for February! Pictured below are Sophia Tilmann, Landyn Hadder and Gauge Gillespie. Sophia Tilmann is an outstanding student whose contagious smile, unmatched work ethic, and genuine kindness set her apart. As a dedicated member of the yearbook staff, she goes above and beyond to include as many students as possible, creating thoughtful and creative pages. She also serves as a positive role model for her elementary school reading buddies, inspiring them with her kindness and dedication. Keep being your authentic self, Sophia—you’re destined for great things! - Mrs. Jorgensen Landyn Hadder has an outstanding work ethic and is always working towards being a better student. Landyn pushes himself every day, and in doing so helps the students around him achieve their goals as well. Landyn is respectful during class time, and is more than willing to contribute to discussions in class. Congratulations to Beal City 8th grader, Jaxson Eldridge, who won the Sisson Shining Star Optimist Club award for this quarter. Jaxson received this award for his great work ethic in the classroom and his kindness to ALL students! Congratulations, Jaxson!

Today, Beal City seniors participated in a "Mock Interview Day" at Mid Michigan College. Seniors were able to practice their job interview skills and gain beneficial, real-world experience.

Monday, Beal City Public Schools celebrated three accomplished Aggies as they signed their national letters of intent to participate in college athletics this fall. Brianna Locke will be running cross country at Northwood University, Owen McKenny will be attending Hope College to play baseball and Lilly Leppert signed to play basketball at Mid Michigan College. Congratulations, Aggies!
