Last night the Middle School Boys & Girls Track and Field Teams traveled to Evart to competed in the Highland Conference Championships. The Lady Aggies took 5th overall out of 9 teams. Medalists include: Cylie Tilmann won both the 200m and 400m, Reegan Higgins took 5th in the 200m hurdles, Madalyn Finnerty finished 4th in the 70m, Avery Schultz placed 3rd in shot put, and the 4x200m relay team of Madalyn Finnerty, Rylinn Pastotnik, Aylin Reihl, and Cylie Tilmann finished 2nd. Finally, after only one week of training with pole vault, Aloise DeVos and Tessa Goffnet tied for 5th jumping 5’ and Reegan Higgins placed 2nd jumping 6’3”. Highlights for the boys team include Sawyer Trommater taking 3rd in the 400, Landyn Hadder 3rd place in the mile and 2nd in the 800, Alden Zeien took 2nd in the 70 and 3rd in 200 and long jump. The team of the Baumann Brothers, Cole Millerov and Conley Bland had a PR in the 2-mile relay and placed 2nd. Grady Gatrell won the 55 hurdles and shot put. Liam Millerov medaled in both hurdles and Cole Millerov had PRs in two events and lastly, Ben Levesque had a 2.5 foot PR in shot put. Great job to all athletes who competed last night! Go Aggies!

On Wednesday, May 7 the Middle School Boys and Girls Track Team faced the Bucks of Roscommon and the Comets of Northern Michigan Christian. The Aggie Girls Track & Field Team, McKinley Neal won with a PR in high jump, and both Rylinn Pastotnik and Aylin Reihl PR’d in the long jump finishing 2nd and 3rd. Tessa Goffent had a solid PR in the 200m, while Paris Knickerbocker finished 2nd in the 400m, and Carys Milett finished 3rd in the 100m. Additional congratulations to Cylie Tilmann, who qualified for MEGASTAR in both the 70m and the 200m. The Aggie Boys Track & Field Team won both contests against Roscommon and NMC. Highlights include: Bryce Schultz in shot, Eli Baumann and Elijah Munro swept the mile, taking first and second, Grady Gatrell had a PR in the 200 hurdles. Other personal bests include: Cole Millerov in the 800, Ryder Sternquist in the 200 and Sawyer Trommater in the 100. Next week the Aggies head to Evart for the conference championship on Wednesday, May 14 at 3:30 PM. Go Aggies!

The Beal City JV Baseball Team came away with two wins tonight vs. the Manton Rangers. Collin Martin was on the mound for game one and the Aggies won 10-0. The bats were hot in game two as Aggies won with a score of 17-2. The JV Baseball Team has an overall record of 12-5. Go Aggies!

Students with construction phase 1
Last Friday, the Middle School Girls Track & Field Team competed against 10 other teams at the Alma Panther Invite. Medalists include: Avery Schultz 2nd in shot put, Cylie Tilmann 3rd in the 100m, and the 4x200m relay team of Lily Wilson, Rylinn Pastotnik, Aylin Reihl, and Cylie Tilmann finishing 3rd. Additional congratulations to the following MEGASTAR qualifiers: Avery Schultz in shot put, with a throw of 32 feet, and Cylie Tilmann in the 100m, running 13.70 seconds. The Middle School Boys Track & Field Team also traveled to Alma on Friday and participated in the Alma Panther Invite. The middle distance relay team of Bland, Fair, Gatrell and Hadder ran a tough race and earned medals, Eli Baumann had a stand out performance in part of the distance medley team, making up ground and earning his relay team members a medal. Lastly, Grady Gatrell set a PR and took first in the 200 hurdles. Last night the Middle School Boys/Girls Track & Field Team competed at Lake City with McBain and logged several personal records. Cole Millerov has a PR in pole vault, while Conley Bland and Olivia Krueger both ran tough 800s which led to PRs. Ben Levensque logged best times in 2 sprints. Lilly Wilson got her PR in the 70, Cylie Tillman won the 200 while teammate Reegan Higgins PRd in the 55 hurdles. McKinley Neal and Bryce Shultz each threw their bests in shot put and lastly, Cylie Tillman qualified for MEGASTAR in 400. Both Middle School Track & Field Teams are back in action tomorrow at Morley Stanwood for the coed relays. Keep up the good work and Go Aggies!

Last night the Middle School Girls Track & Field Team won against Evart and lost by 1 point to Houghton Lake. Highlights include: Rylinn 2nd in the 70m and long jump, Madalyn 2nd in the 100m, Cylie 1st in the 400m and long jump, Olivia 2nd in the 800m and 1600m, Reegan 2nd in the 200m hurdles, Avery 2nd in shot put, and both the 4x200m relay (Wilson, DeVos, Higgins, Pastotnik) and 4x400m relay (Finnerty, Krueger, Reihl, Tilmann) finishing 1st. Last night the Middle School Boys Track and Field Team claimed a big win over Evart and lost to Houghton Lake by 1 point. Key competitions in the night were Grady Gatrell in both hurdle events, the 2-mile relay team of Jackson, Cole, Elijah and Conley and Landyn Hadder in the 800. Several seventh graders had impressive opening meets including Eli Baumann in the mile, Parker Fair in the 400 and Ryder Sternquist in several sprints. Both Middle School Track & Field Teams will be competing again tomorrow in Alma at the MS Panther Track Classic. Keep up the good work!

The #6 ranked Beal City Varsity Softball Team (2-0) opened the season with two wins over Gladwin. The Aggies won game one 13-3 in 5 innings. Macy Johnston was the winning pitcher striking out 6. Dakota Dodak, Lauryn Licari, Emily Taylor, and Arryana Brown had 2 hits apiece in the game. The Aggies won game two 13-5. Dakota Dodak earned the win in the circle. Beth Block went 3 for 3. Emily Taylor had a grand slam and a solo home run. Arryana Brown had 2 home runs. The Varsity Softball team travels to Shepherd on Monday to face the Bluejays. The Beal City JV Baseball team split with Gladwin tonight. The JV Baseball team travels to Okemos to play again tomorrow. Go Aggies!
