Today in sports: 4:30 – Freshmen boys’ basketball – Away against Houghton Lake – Bus departs at 2:50 by the bandroom doors
The boys varsity basketball team used great team defense to defeat Lake City by the score of 51-29 Friday night. It was an impressive defensive effort from start to finish. The scoring was led by Logan Chilman with 18 points. Good job student section again. You continue to impress me!
Junior high students: Don’t forget to order your class t-shirts by December 21st. There are extra forms in the high school office. Shirts are $10. Money and order forms can be turned into Mr. Fletcher.
Seniors: A rep from Jostens will be here today at lunch to collect your cap and gown orders.

Girls’ junior high basketball registration meeting will be held Tuesday, December 18th at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. The first practice for junior high basketball is January 3rd.
NHS is hosting a volleyball tournament this Sunday, December 16th! Cost to enter is $60 per team. Get your team together ASAP! Forms to register your team can be found in the high school office. Please get your money and completed form to Kylea Hoover no later than Wednesday, December 12th!
Mark your calendar for the Beal City Snowball dance! Student council is sponsoring a semi-formal dance on Saturday, February 2nd in the small gym. This dance is open to all 9th-12th grade students.
