TODAY IN SPORTS: 

4:15 - 7th & 8th Grade Track - Away at Lake City - Bus departs at 2:25 - Students dismissed at 2:15

The softball team opened conference play with two wins over Pine River last night. They won game one 20-0 in 3 innings. Emily Taylor went 3 for 3 with a home run. Lauryn Licari went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s. Aubrey Thielen went 3 for 3 with 4 RBI’s. Macy Johnston was the winning pitcher giving up just 2 hits and striking out 6. They won game two 19-2 in 3 innings. Hayden McLachlan went 3 for 3 with her first high school home run. Emily had 2 home runs in the game. Emma Block had 3 RBI’s, Madason Fisher was 2 for 2, and Lydee Salisbury had a triple. Emma was the winning pitcher.

The varsity baseball team opened up Highland Conference play tonight with two wins over Pine River 16-0 in 3 innings and 14-2 in 5 innings. In game 1, Cayden Smith (3-0) got the win throwing 2 innings with 6 strikeouts. Cuyler Smith pitched 1 inning with 2 strikeouts which made a combined no hitter for the Smith brothers.  Bennett Gilde was 2-3 with a home run and a grand slam with 7 RBI’s.  Jack Fussman was 3-3 with 3 RBI’s. Owen McKenny added two hits. Blake Walcutt had a double and 2 RBI’s. In game two, Josh Wilson (1-2) recorded the win in 3 innings with no hits, no runs and 5 strikeouts. Cayden Smith had a grand slam and 5 RBI’s. Cole Tilmann, Blake Walcutt and Lane Gross added 2 hits. Eric Elias had a hit and 2 RBI’s. The Aggies are now 5-5 and 2-0 in the Highland. The next game for the Aggies will be at Evart on Friday. 

The library will be closed to all students on Thursday due to Kindergarten assessments.  Online students are asked to use the lounge or the computer lab (when available). We apologize for the inconvenience.

Seniors: Please fill out the google form for the final round of mock elections. Deadline to submit your vote is May 3rd.

Tutoring is in Ms. Eddy’s room today starting at 3:00.

This Friday, April 26th is “Drive your tractor to school day”! If you are of legal age and have access to a tractor, you are allowed to drive it to school on the 26th. Please park in the south west area of the parking lot.

Seniors: Please get your baby picture, senior picture and plans for after school to Dylan Elias or Mr. Hoeberling ASAP!

Seniors: You can now pick up your cap and gown from Diane in the office! Stop in before school, during passing time or at lunch. Please take your gown out of the bag to make sure it is the right size. If there are any issues with the cap or gown, please let Mrs. Millerov know ASAP.

Seniors: There is a special promotion happening now regarding your FASFA. If you complete your FASFA before May 1st, and show Mrs. Millerov your confirmation email, you will be treated to Olive Garden for lunch on May 2nd! See Mrs. Millerov with any questions.

Prom tickets are on sale now. Please see Mrs. Vessel to purchase your ticket. Cost is $25 per person. Prom will be held May 4th from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. at the Little Flower Barn in Lake Isabella.  If you plan to bring a guest from another school (or an underclassmen), please see Diane in the office for a guest pass.  Passes are due this Friday, April 26th.
