Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Amanda Schmidt. I cannot wait to be your child’s teacher! I have taught Kindergarten at Beal City Elementary since 2018. Prior to teaching Kindergarten I was a paraprofessional and a substitute teacher. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in special education with a minor in reading in the elementary grades. This school year your child will learn and grow in exciting ways. I believe in a growth mindset where all things are possible if only we believe in ourselves and continue to try. Together, we will have a year full of fun and memorable moments! I feel open communication is the best way to build a strong relationship that will help your child throughout the year.
