Middle School/High School Announcements - 12-1-21

The Lady Aggies fell to a very tough SHA team last night. Both the JV and Varsity teams worked extremely hard the entire game, fighting right to the final buzzer. Leading the way for the JV squad was Macy Johnston with 8. On the varsity side, Morgan Wilson added 6. Great effort, Ladies!

Leading up to our winter break, we will be highlighting some wellness tips. Well-Being Wednesday: Today’s focus is:  Do all the good you can. Your actions could include using kind words when speaking to others, letting someone else win or go first, listening to your teachers, or making a new friend. Just think good thoughts, and act with good intentions.

There is a Gay Straight Alliance meeting today in Mrs. Davis' room at 3:00pm. Any 9-12th graders interested in attending, please stop by!

Football equipment turn in will be this Friday immediately after school. Players are to bring all equipment in travel bag with washed uniforms. If you are unable to make Friday, contact coach Gross to set up a time BEFORE Friday.

There will be an informational meeting today at 4:00 in the media center for all students and parents/guardians regarding the upcoming wrestling season. See Mr. Wieghart for any questions.

The NHS penny drive starts next week! Start saving your change so you can participate in this fun event, which raises money for Special Olympics of Michigan. Containers will be placed in your first hour classes.

Reminder to Seniors who received information regarding the MHSAA scholar athlete recognition, your online applications are due on December 3rd.

Rylee’s Closet is a new resource available to Beal City students. This “closet” has items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, feminine products and much more. Students can request clothing items in the appropriate size as well. As winter approaches, other items such as coats, hats, gloves and boots may be available as well. Please talk to Mrs. Jorgensen, Diane in the office or any of our counselors if you are in need of any of these items.

LUNCH TODAY: Tacos.
