4:00 - JV Baseball - Home against Ovid-Elsie
The Beal City Middle School Girls Track Team brought home a win last night in Evart by defeating the Wildcats 74 -54 and also bested Houghton Lake who scored 10 on the night.
In their first meet of the season, the girls performed well despite the extreme cold and wind. Bringing home 1st Places were the following: Molly Trommater/55mH, Brianna Locke/1600m, Lydee Salisbury/800m, Lauryn Licari/3200m & Khloe Wilson/High Jump.
The girls swept in all the Relays as well with Licari, Lilly Leppert, Gabby Breur, and Locke in the 4x800, Johanna Hubble, Hayden Doyle, Bella Davis and Anna Faber in the 4x200. Sophia Weber, Rheid Schucher, Hubble and Mya Scully in the 4x100 and Salisbury, Locke, Lauren Gross and Wilson in the 4x400. It was a team win as most everyone scored. Great job, ladies!
The JH boys track team opened their season with a win over Evart. Leading the way for the boys was Drew Block with a first place finish in high jump and the 400m dash and second in the 55m hurdles, Owen McKenny with a first place finish the long jump, second in the mile and third in the 400m, Drake Gatrell with a first place in the 800m and 200m and third in the 55m hurdles, Eli Zeien first place in the 200m hurdles, Ben Gottschalk with a first place in shot putt and Jordan Weber with first in the 3200m.
Spanish Honors Society applications are available today, Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Applications are due April 27, 2021. See Mrs. Christensen for the application or send her an email.
Detention today will be held in Mr. Carter’s room. If you have hours to serve, please be in his room by 3:00.
There will be an FFA State Convention Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 21st in Ms. Spry's room to recognize the members that received FFA degrees. Pizza is being provided so, If you can attend, please let Ms. Spry know by the end of the day today so she can order the appropriate amount of pizza.
Middle school FFA members please meet in Ms. Spry’s room during lunch on Thursday.
Prom tickets are on sale now. See Mrs. Henry between classes or at lunch to purchase your ticket. Cost is $25 each. If you are bringing a guest from another school, you need to submit a guest dance pass by Wednesday, April 28th. Guest passes can be found in the office. Prom will be held on Saturday, May 8th at The Little Flower Barn at Lake Isabella.
Seniors: Applications for the BCEF Aggie of Excellence scholarship are due by this Friday, April 23rd.
Articles for the May Aggie Express should be sent to Carrie by Wednesday, April 21st.
Ellen’s Equipment (formerly Tilmann Hardware) is looking to hire a couple individuals to work in their parts department part time. If you are interested, please see Diane for more information.
