Elementary Office
Mr. Wolf - Elementary Principal
Dear Beal City Community and Family,
On behalf of the Beal City Public Schools Family & Community, it is truly my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you as we begin the 2011-2012 school year at Beal City Carl D. Mayes Elementary School. September is the time of year to reconnect with old friends and welcome new friends. We at Beal City Elementary are very pleased to welcome everyone to the 2011-2012 school year! To those students and parents who are new to Beal City Public Schools we extend an especially warm welcome and best wishes for an exciting and productive year in your new school. We hope that you will quickly feel at home and become involved in the activities of our school through the PTO and your child’s classroom program.
As I begin my first year as principal of Beal City Elementary, I will work diligently with parents and staff to foster an atmosphere that promotes an atmosphere characterized by academic excellence, trust, respect, community involvement, excellent communications, and recognition of both student and staff achievement. I am committed to working in collaboration with you to develop and implement this vision. Working together this school year, we can create a nurturing, disciplined, and challenging environment in which all students can learn at high levels and become responsible members of society. I am very excited to have the opportunity to become a part of such a great school and community.

Mrs. Fussman has been happily employed at Mayes Elementary for 22 years. She is looking forward to working with our new principal, Jason Wolf. This year will be full of changes and new challenges, but working with such a professional staff will make everything go on without a hitch.
Mrs. Fussman and her husband, Steve, have seven wonderful grandchildren. Mitchell, Spencer, Chloe, Natalie, Jack, Benjamin and Paxton. The latest additions to the family, Ben and Paxton, were born on March 10 and June 13. It’s such fun to have little ones on the family again. Jack made the big step of starting Kindergarten this year also. Everyone is healthy and very busy with the start of Rocket Football and Cheer.
Mrs. Fussman continues to enjoy reading, gardening and spending time with family. She hopes to continue being a part of Beal City Schools for at least a few more years.
