Middle School/High School Announcements - 12-10-19

5:30 – Freshmen Boys’ Basketball – Home against Big Rapids

The JV boys’ basketball team defeated Sacred Heart last night 61-15. Matt Oswald led the team with 16 points. Other leading scorers were Cade Block (12), Konnor Wilson (9), Brenden Martin (7), Ben Natzel (7) and Jackson Schumacher (6).

The Beal City Boys 7th Grade Team defeated the Bucks of Pine River by the score of 45 - 29. Austin Small scored 12 points while Kane Hooks and Owen McKenny added 9 and 6 points respectively.

The 8th grade boys’ basketball team defeated the Pine River Bucks by the score of 56 -19 last night. Jamison Latham scored 14 while, Josh Wilson and Jack Fussman added 10 and 8 points respectively.

SAT prep session today at 3:15 in Mrs. Doyle’s room.

Detention for today has been canceled. Next opportunity to serve is this Thursday.  

FFA fruit and nut orders will be in this Thursday, December 12th by 4:30 p.m. Please make arrangements to pick up your orders at that time.

FFA members interested in applying for their state FFA degree or outstanding junior degree need to see Ms. Spry ASAP.

Students: We have some buy one burger and fry, get a burger and fry free from Freddies. If you would like one of these coupons, please see Diane in the office. Limit one per student, please.

Picture retakes are in! Stop in the office during your lunch to pick them up!

Articles for the January Aggie Express need to be sent to Carrie @ cbleise@bealcityschools.net by Wednesday December 18th.

Looking for last minute gift ideas?  The Spanish Club has 12 Aggie Blankets left.  Each blanket sold helps our students on their Europe trip in 2021.  They are $55 each.  Contact Mrs. Christensen if you are interested.

The NHS penny drive continues today! Donation jugs are located in your first hour teacher’s classrooms. A couple reminders: Any student is allowed to put money in any jug…even if they do not have that particular teacher for a class. You can’t restrict students from contributing to your jug. Also, once money is placed in the jug, it cannot be removed! Also, you cannot interrupt class time to make a deposit into a jug. J

Lunch today: Lasagna roll up with breadstick or chicken corn dog nuggets.
