6:00 – JV/Varsity Boys’ Basketball – Home against Pine River
The boys’ varsity basketball team fought hard but fell to Manton by the score of 43 to 41 Friday night. Scoring is led by Logan Chilman with 19 points.
The boy’s JV basketball team lost to Manton Friday night 47-55. Konnor Wilson led the team with 14 points and Derek Gross added 11 points.
The Gratiot-Isabella Technical Education Center is hosting an open house on Thursday, February 7th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at their Mt. Pleasant campus. Students and parents are encouraged to attend to see the different career tech programs made available to area students.
Students in need of community service hours, you have a great opportunity to earn hours and have fun at the same time by helping with the elementary Snow Fest Carnival! The carnival will be held Saturday, January 26th and many helpers are needed. If you would like to assist with set up on Friday the 25th or during the carnival on the 26th, please sign up in the high school office.
There will be mandatory high school YIG meetings on Wednesday, January 30th. Please choose to come to the morning meeting at 7:30 or the high school lunch meeting. We will be discussing last minute information about the Spring Conference.
Attention high school band students who are BRASS players. Leave a note in Ms. Reynolds' mailbox if you would like to attend Brass Day on January 31st.
Don’t forget about the Aggie Snowball dance coming up next month! Mark your calendar for February 2nd. This semi-formal dance is open to all 9th-12th grade students. Cost to attend is only $5 and tickets will go on sale next week. The dance will be held in the small gym from 7:30-10:30.
