HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JACKSON SCHUMACHER! HAVE A GREAT DAY, JACKSON!
The 8th grade girls’ volleyball team defeated Pine River at home last night. They won all 5 games thanks to great performances by Rachel Gross who made many saves and smart plays and Hadyn Armstrong who had 27 aces on the day.
Today is Apple crunch day! All students in grades K-12 as well as St. Joe’s students will be gathering in the big gym at 9:00 to simultaneously bite into a fresh, Michigan apple. Students are asked to wear their homecoming shirts/colors on this day for the photo that will be taken.
There will be no classes at the Mt. Pleasant Tech Center tomorrow, Wednesday October 24th. Tech Center students will be dismissed after 4th hour on Wednesday.
7th grade boys’ basketball players: Your practice today is from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Conditioning for all 9th-12th grade boys' basketball players will take place after school today, tomorrow and Thursday in the weight room and outside at the track.
Attention 9th-12th grade students: There will be a spectator bus available for 9th-12th grade students who are interested in attending the varsity volleyball conference meet this Wednesday. Bus departs at 3:45. There is no cost to ride the bus, however, students will be responsible to purchase their ticket for the game and will need to purchase their own concessions.
The Spanish Club corn hole tournament continues today during lunch. Stop by the gym at lunch to witness some fierce competition!
Students who are dual enrolled: Your grades are due and need to be submitted ASAP.
Financial aid night for seniors and their parents will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center.
Students: Please remember that you are not allowed to exit the building during the school day without express permission from the office. These requests should be reserved for emergency situations only.
Robotics meeting at 5:30 this Wednesday the 24th in Mr. Tice’s room for all new and returning members. Parents are also welcome.
The Beal City Education Foundation is once again hosting two awesome Halloween events! Trunk-or-Treat will once again be held in the high school parking lot on Wednesday, October 31st starting at 6:00 p.m. Also, the Halloween Bash is back again! Adults 21 and older are invited to the KC Hall on Saturday, October 27th starting at 7:00 p.m. Join us for a fun-filled night which will include the awesome Foolish Dreams band! Tickets can be purchased in advance at Beal City School for $15 or $20 at the door.
High school girls basketball open gym will be held this Sunday October 28th at 7:30 p.m.
The Beal City talent show will be held on Tuesday, November 13th at 7:00 p.m. Auditions will be held today, tomorrow and Friday after school in Ms. Holt's room. Sign up to audition in the high school office or see Ms. Holt.
Mark your calendar for our annual Veteran’s Day assembly which will be held on Monday, November 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the big gym. Please plan to join us for this special even that celebrates our brave military veterans and current service members.
